The festival was founded in 2012. It has become a meeting place for the cultures of the peoples from Antiquity and the Middle Ages, from the East and the West, the North and the South. Every year, the fes­tival editions have different themes related to the recreation of the ancient and medieval atmosphere in the Baba Vida fortress: martial arts re-enactments, medieval music, armaments and clothing, tasting of medieval cuisine, church plate, etc.
